This approach provides essential support to critical services for the management of the electricity grid, such as peak shaving (reduction of peaks in demand) and load levelling (balance the load). <b>The ability to coordinate and aggregate these distributed storage systems is essential to optimize operational efficiency and ensure the stability of the electricity system<\/b>, especially in scenarios characterized by unexpected events, such as sudden changes in energy demand or generation capacity.<br><br> <\/p>\n<p>To successfully implement a Virtual Storage system, it is essential to equip the individual storage systems with interface devices, both hardware and software, designed to allow aggregated and coordinated management of the Storage Systems (SdA) distributed along the network.<\/p>\n<p><b>In this context, the ViStoFaRe proposal fits in, whose main objective is to develop and implement an advanced conversion device, called StorInPlus<\/b>, accompanied by specific control strategies for the interfacing of electrochemical SdAs to the network.
